How is liquid soap different from bar soap?

Liquid soaps such as hand wash and body wash are made using a different formulation than bar soap, which allows it to have a moisturising and hydrating effect on the skin. All of our soaps are made on a farm site which is located in the English countryside of Sussex, in the UK.

Absolutely! Our range of Anniversary soap bars & body washes are made using only plant-based ingredients, making them completely vegan-friendly.

Are your soap products cruelty-free?

Yes, we strongly believe in ethical practices and none of our Anniversary products or ingredients are tested on animals, making them cruelty-free.

Are there any harsh additives or chemicals in your soaps?

No, we avoid any harsh chemicals such as SLS’s and parabens to ensure a gentle and nourishing experience for your skin.

Instructions: Create a gentle lather by combining with warm water and massaging into the skin. Rinse off thoroughly to leave your skin feeling cleansed and replenished.

Due to the popularity of their best-selling Anniversary soap bar collection, in 2021 they expanded the Anniversary range into hand and body washes as well as luxury hand creams.

In the year 2000, The English Soap Company was founded in by husband-and-wife team Juliet and Bob, who mastered the art of soap making from humble beginnings at their kitchen table.

After two decades, they are proud to be a thriving family-run business, making a full range of natural skincare products including hand creams, hand washes and their famous triple-milled vegan bar soaps, situated on their farm in the scenic countryside of the Sussex, England.

How We Make Our Soaps

The English Soap Company soap products are made in England with pure vegetable oils using traditional soap making methods which we have used for the past 20 years.

As a result, Anniversary soaps are exceptionally high quality and last far longer than standard soaps. They produce a richer lather and have a silkier, more luxurious effect on the skin.

They make every skincare product on their farm located in idyllic landscape of the Sussex UK countryside, using the finest quality ingredients. All their perfumes are made in England by expert perfumers and have been designed specifically for the English Soap Company.
